This machine is suitable for the abrasion test of elastic materials, rubber, tires, conveyor belts, transmission belts, soles, soft synthetic leather, leather, etc. It has high performance, good reproducability and easy operation.
Instrument Principle of DIN Sole Wear Resistance Testing Machine
Under the specified contact pressure and on a given area, the sample is at a certain angle with the sandpaper, and the abrasion caused by the friction of the sample on a certain level of sandpaper is measured. The sandpaper bag is attached to the surface of the drum, and the sample is pressed tightly against the drum with sandpaper, causing the sample to move laterally along the drum. Wear occurs at one end of the cylindrical sample. The mass loss value of the sample is measured, and the volumetric wear is calculated from the density of the sample.
