Application

Bursting Strength Tester is a frequently used paper and packagingtesting machine used to determine the bursting strength of the paperor board subjected to increasing hydraulic pressure under specifiedconditions. Bursting strength is the maximum pressure exerted by thehydraulic system in forcing an elastic diaphragm through a circulararea of the test piece when the pressure is applied.
lt applies to all types of the board, including solid and corrugatedfibreboard with bursting strengths within the arrange 350 kPa to 5,500KPa. Paper or board with the bursting strength as low as 250 kPa canalso be measured by this testing equipment lf it is intended for thematerial of corrugated board with a higher bursting strength.
