In order to better meet the reliability and safety testing needs of fuel cell systems in extreme environments, the fuel hydrogen cell low pressure test chamber came into being. The following is a brief introduction to "HUANYI Instruments' recent low-pressure test chamber solution for fuel hydrogen cells. This solution provides comprehensive and controllable conditions for environmental testing of fuel cells.
Cooling water circulation system (preferred option):
Stack temperature regulation module: includes three-way valve, stack temperature regulation heat exchanger and cooling water temperature sensor. During the test preparation phase, this module keeps the cooling water consistent with the ambient temperature in the environmental chamber to ensure the stability of the system.
Large circulation module: Used during the test phase, when the cooling water temperature in the fuel cell system needs to continue to rise to the preset value, the cooling water flows through to ensure the continuity and comprehensiveness of the test.
Working process:
Initial stage: The stack temperature is low, the thermostat is closed, the small circulation system is turned on, and the fuel cell system cooling water heats up rapidly.
Over-temperature point: When the cooling water temperature rises to the critical temperature point for thermostat opening, the thermostat opens, allowing the cooling water to flow through the stack temperature adjustment module to accelerate the cooling rate of the fuel cell stack.
Cold soak is completed: When the cooling water temperature sensor detects that the cooling water temperature is the same as the test requirement, it indicates that the cold soak is completed and the cooling fan stops running.
The above scheme can test fuel cells to complete various environmental tests under low pressure conditions.
